Blue Spring Farm is a family owned and operated small farm located in Box Elder County.

We purchased 6 acres in Bothwell in 1999. We have approximately 5 acres for growing and the rest contains our home and outbuildings.

We have been growing vegetables organically to sell at farmers markets since 2002. We gradually increased our production and started our CSA program in 2009.

We grow our produce following the National Organic Standards, our farm is not certified organic. We do not use artificial/chemical fertilizers or pesticides on our crops.  We focus on using compost and cover crops to build and improve the soil.

Most of the vegetables which we grow are heirlooms or open pollinated varieties. We also save seed from our crops, choosing the ones that seem to be somewhat better suited to our growing conditions.

2016 will be the 8th year for our CSA program. Our CSA runs for an 18 week season beginning the first part of June, weather dependant, and ending in October. Deliveries are made to the Salt Lake area on Wednesday afternoon. We have drop off locations in Cottonwood Heights, East Millcreek, Avenues, Sugarhouse and Tremonton.
