Our Weekly Farm Basket, formerly known as CSA or Community Supported Agriculture, is an opportunity to help support local farming by pre-paying for the upcoming seasons produce. We plan 7-9 different items per week. You pick up a shopping list each week at the farm market. 5 or 6 items will be mandatory and a few items you can choose from to finish out your share.

OUR WEEKLY FARM BASKET PROGRAM IS UNIQUE. HERE’S HOW:

· Pick-up your share at the Farm on either Tuesdays or Saturdays, beginning in early July 2016.

· The fresh produce you receive is in a controlled environment. You also have the opportunity to do shopping for other local produce that might not be in your share.

· Typically 10% of your share is your choice between certain items, mix and match a bit, or opt out of one veggie to get a little extra of something you use more often.

· Our program includes fruit and berries which are sourced from our Utah farming friends.

EXAMPLE OF WEEKLY PRODUCE (approx. ½ bushel weekly or 15-25 lbs)

Early Summer: Beet greens, zucchini, peas, young onions, radish, turnip, new potatoes, tomatoes, beans, chard, kale, and Sweet Cherries.

Summer Weeks: Summer squash, beans, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, watermelon, cantaloupe, sweet corn, apricot,  and raspberries.

Fall Weeks: Beans, beets, Carrots, onions, potatoes, winter squash, pie pumpkins, tomatoes, peaches, pears, and apples.
