OUR CSA PROGRAM IS FUN & UNIQUE. 

Pick-up at the Farm

Pick up your share in the farm store.  Have a hot drink and chat with the farmers and the other CSA members.  Shop for other products that might not be part of that week’s share.  Read up to date materials on sustainable farming.  Ask questions, make suggestions. 

COST  

Omnivores ½ shares = $340.00

Omnivores Full Shares = $650.00

Vegetarian ½ shares = $325

Volunteer ½ shares = $240 (volunteer 8 hours of labor on the farm between May 1st and August 1st).

Planet Goat Club Members take 15% of the above shares.  (See website for club membership benefits at www.planet-goat.com).

PICK UP DATES AND TIMES

20  WEEKS OF MEAT, CHEESE, EGGS, AND PRODUCE STARTING JUNE 21ST, 2015 AND ENDING NOVEMBER 12TH

Weekly pick up is not necessary, but is optional.  We know that summer is vacation time and we want to accommodate our share holders schedules.  We do ask that all share holders arrange for at least 10 pick-ups over the season with no more than 3 weeks in between pick ups.


THURSDAYS: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Until 5:00 PM in November)
SATURDAYS: 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM   (Until 5:00 PM in November)

PICK UP PROCEDURE

Each week a ‘menu’ will be posted on our website.  A certain amount of choice will be offered.  Choose your items and email your order to us the day before pickup so that we know how many dozen eggs, pounds of cheese etc. for that pick-up day so not one share holder is disappointed. 

Early Summer:
Beets and greens, snow peas, garlic, radishes, new potatoes, chard, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, raab, spinach, lettuces(variety).

Summer Weeks:
Summer squash, beans, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, cantaloupe, flowers, basil,  

Fall Weeks:
Beans, beets, carrots, onions, potatoes, winter squash, pie pumpkins, tomatoes
Apples.

Quantities organic produce over the season: (1/2 share amounts listed, full share holders double all)

          8 lbs. tomatoes

          8 lbs. potatoes

          10 lbs. summer squash

          20 lbs  winter squash

          10 lbs greens (lettuce, kales, etc)

          10 lbs beans and peas

          2  lbs hot peppers

          5  lbs mild peppers or eggplants

          2 lbs. cucumbers

          4 lbs. broccoli or cauliflower.

          2 lbs. assorted herbs

Quantities meat & dairy over the season: (1/2 share)

10 lbs. pastured pork

10  lbs. grass finished beef

4 lbs goat cheese (Chevre)

8 dozen eggs (free range)

In addition,  ½ share holders may choose 3 items over the season from the following list:

          8 oz jar goat feta cheese

          8 oz jar of either vanilla, orange, rum or chocolate cajeta

          1 lb. smoked goat cheese

2 flower bouquets (Counts as 1 item)

2 jars of salsa (Count as 1 item)
